Apparently it mutated from a "Top 100 Most Loved Books in Britain", if what I've been told by others is true.
I like Confederacy of Dunces. I don't think it's the sparkling gem of satire a lot of people believe it to have been of its generation, but I did enjoy when I read through it. I think it's entertaining, at the very least, though I wouldn't say it's one of my favorite books.
